Emergency service is of vital importance in cases that develop suddenly and pose a threat to a person’s life. With its specialist doctors, nurses and health personnel who are experienced in first aid and emergency services, it provides 24/7 service to patients who require emergency intervention, with a multidisciplinary service approach. There are examination, emergency response, internal and surgical resuscitation rooms in the emergency service units, which have state-of-the-art medical devices. The first observation and treatment process for our patients who come to the emergency department of our hospital is carried out in large monitorized observation rooms and in a modern environment. The emergency department of our hospital, which wants to offer all and more, is divided into red areas, yellow areas and green areas according to the patient’s complaint and the emergency response required by the general health condition.
Red Area: “What is the red area?” The question is one of the most frequently asked questions about the emergency service. In the red area, we are looking at priority emergency patients with life-threatening serious injuries, severe illness, heart attack symptoms, penetrating and cutting injuries, respiratory problems and traumas. In addition, we include patients brought by 112 ambulances into the red field.
Yellow Area: In the yellow area, we perform medical interventions on patients who are at risk of permanent damage to their bodies as a result of accidents or trauma.
Green Area: In this area, we are looking at diseases or minor injuries. The general health status of our patients included in this area requires less urgency than the patients in the red and yellow areas.
